Recently, I was traveling around Lake Waramaug in Connecticut when a large bird, perched in a tree, caught my attention. After pulling off the road, I was able to get a good look at this rare and most unusual bird and photograph it. It was quite calm and didn't seemed to be alarmed until I started to approach it where upon it called out, "Whooo, Whooo are you?". AN OWGLE??? I couldn't believe my eyes. Certainly a once in a lifetime sighting and I was able to record it on film. A "Life Bird" which I will never forget !
